Sharon Braunstein, the owner and designer, has been handcrafting things for years. A native New Yorker, Sharon grew up going to theatre and museums, and built a highly developed sense of aesthetics. She grew to become nationally recognized, with work shown around the country. Sharon is a graduate of the world famous Yale School of Drama where she earned an MFA in Technical Design and Production. Starting her career in professional theatre, she built props. For almost 20 years, she earned her living from her creativity in a variety of environments. Whether building a prop or a mask, creating jewelry or a hat, or decorating a set, she has always thought of it as sculpture. It has always been about crafting a reality of someone's vision, focussing on the details.

Several years ago, Sharon began creating handcrafted custom headpieces as gifts for her friends who were getting married. They were all different, specific to the visions of each bride. The creation of each of the headpieces was energized by the passion of the wedding to come, the love between the couple, and the promise of the future, and each headpiece was beloved by the bride and greatly admired by those in attendance.
